| Bio: | When my mom asked me what my plans for the future were, I told her I was waiting for my midlife crisis to occur before I would decide. Then I would buy a car to compensate for my egotistical inadequacies and a mansion with a pool boy named Marco. And I'd make him dance. The only problem with this fantasy is that I'm not really anywhere near my midlife crisis, and I really should decide where I'll be before then. And I have, to some extent. I'm a college graduate with a degree in Forensic Psychology who plans to return to school for a degree in medicine, most likely forensic anatomic pathology. "Wait...what?", you might say upon reading that, "I thought you had a degree in Forensic Psychology". Well, you'd be correct, as I just mentioned that I do. But there's not much that I can do with that, and it's not for lack of planning. If someone had told me roughly eight years ago what I would know today, I'd have probably gone for a degree that I could easily use within four years. I'm anti-Bush and hoping that some day, people will just start getting along and not wanting to mess so much with other's business. I really don't care what someone else does with their life or their person, because that is their choice. I'm not going to tell someone not to get an abortion, though I personally wouldn't. I think that's her choice. And I'm also not going to say that a gay couple can't marry, because I think everyone should be able to marry. I'm also a former army wife. My husband was discharged due to medical reasons. I still remember the sound of cadence being called and hundreds of feet pounding the Fort Bragg pavement. I'm glad we're not going through that anymore. I try not to reveal my true location unless I've locked the entry in which I mention it, and that's mostly due to a murderous and dangerously psychotic father-in-law. In-laws. Don't you love 'em? I believe he knows we're in New York, though, so no harm in mentioning that. | |||||
